i think im back

I'm gonna be honest, blogging is kind of a bitch. I have received so many compliments about this little blog where I cuss like a sailor and complain about parenting that you would think I would want to do this shit full time. Well, guess what? I don't. LOL... I do love writing for you all but my adorable little shits wear me the hell out! So yes, I am going to try to get back into it but please hang tight with me cuz its hard to get the ball rolling sometimes!

Here's a couple of quick updates:

So since I last wrote to you, the twins now walk, run, jump, go opposite directions wherever the hell we are and make me continually chase them...Reminder, I have a 3 year old who doesn't give a shit about what direction I want him to go in because he is going to do whatever he damn well pleases.  I can't tell you how many complete strangers grab one of my kids for me when i am trying to track them all down. Thank God, most people feel super sorry for me and try and help when they can. I take them up on it because well, I don't have any other choice! I've learned to limit the places I go to where I can slap them all in a damn cart to keep them contained. It doesn't always work that way but that's usually the plan.

Potty training the 3 year old.

Fuck it. I hate it. Its the worst. My hatred for it deserves its own post. Be ready for that to be the next blog post for sure.

Now lets talk about me and the officer.

So you may remember that my last post was I was diagnosed with diabetes.I had to make some new life choices to go along with my sugar drama so I joined the local YMCA and started eating better. The Y has been a game changer for me. I joined with one of my good friends, Lisa, and we started taking different classes together 4-5 times a week. I'm not going to get all mushy and shit, but I really do love going and I love having someone to go with me. Dropping my kids off at the child care and doing a workout is fanfuckingtastic!
I have tried to stay as low carb as possible and lucky for me, the officer cut the carbs with me. We have seen dramatic changes and we are still going! I have lost 50 lbs and the officer has lost 39lbs!! He actually weighs 5lbs less than he did at our wedding!

I actually have had people not recognize me!

Really Sam? Just by weight loss? Well, I also had another problem that I was embarrassed about but I am going to come clean now. My teeth....
Long story short, I was never a fan of the dentist. It kind of scared the shit out of me. So naturally because I am a moron, I went YEARS (i wont even admit how long)without going to the dentist. I felt like, if I didn't have any pain, then I must be fine. Well, that was me being a dumbass....So flash forward to 2014 I finally decided to go because I noticed I was started to get a gap between my teeth that wasn't there before. The dentist informed me that I had untreated gum disease and it was basically causing my gums to rot and my teeth to move apart. So after several treatments and my gums were healthy again, I got invisalign to fix my shitty gap that was making me feel super duper ugly. 6 months later (and a shit ton of money) I finally had pretty teeth again! So moral of the story, GO TO THE DENTIST!

I'll leave you with some before and after pics to see the difference. It was pretty damn bad!!!
