I get asked the same questions over and over which is totally fine, but to save you the hassle of wondering about these burning questions, I decided to help you out and answer them here...
Q:Did you go into labor early?
Nope, I had a scheduled c-section at 38 weeks and I made it to that day.
Q: Weren't you miserable?
Yes, I cried every night for the last three weeks of my pregnancy. It was my version of hell.
Q: How much did the twins weigh at birth?
Jack weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and Jenna weighed 8 lbs.... and if you really want to know I had 10lbs of placenta too. You can do the math. Yes, I almost toppled over.
Q: Are the twins identical?
You would be surprised how many don't know this...Boy/girl twins CANNOT be identical because they don't the same parts...so no.
Q: Are they natural?
Yes.. we were fortunate enough that it happened for the us the old fashioned way.
Q: Do twins run in your family?
Yes. This is the 6th set on my dad's side. ( I think...Toebbe's feel free to correct me)..
Q: How far apart are the toddler and the twins?
20 months.
Q:Aren't you crazy to have 3 under 2?
Yes, but I didn't have a fucking choice.
Q: How do you do it?
ummmm....how do you get up and go to work everyday? you just do.
